Guides office

The official guide office of Crans-Montana, called SMS Mountain Guides office, is an integral part of the Swiss Mountain Sports ski school. Professional IFMGA high-mountain guides will supervise your off-piste and helicopter outings from Crans-Montana, or all the other interesting freeride spots in Valais and the surrounding area. This for the winter period.

Otherwise, outside the snowy months, our high-mountain guides will be able to help you discover and introduce you to via ferrata, the practice of canyoning, accompany you along the extraordinary ‘Haute-Route’ (spring or summer) offered by the Valais, from Chamonix to Zermatt, via Arolla and Grimentz. With them, cross glaciers, climb peaks, perfect your climbing technique, discover new horizons; in other words, domesticate the high or medium mountains in all their forms!

You can also discover many hiking routes, apart from the previously mentioned ‘Haute-Route’, in the middle mountains, which are therefore easier to access, such as those along the very pretty ‘bisses’ that criss-cross our mountains...
